Dental Reception Marketing:
Our Own Story


My name is Theo Mioduski.

I’m a dentist and I’m also the co-founder and chief dental consultant for Warm Reception, LLC. Just a little more on my background…. I did my training at Indiana University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2007, immediately followed by a one year hospital-based GPR program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While at UAB, I immersed myself in implant surgery and restoration, intravenous sedation, basic general dentistry, and quite a bit of both fixed and removable prosth. In 2008 I returned home to join my father’s practice in Loveland, Colorado and I’ve been there ever since!

It was only a year or so into practice, and after enduring a very extensive total overhaul of our practice’s website, that I had an idea. We had put so much time and energy into that website and I wanted it to be seen, and seen on a daily basis, not just when people visited it online. I wanted it front-and-center in our practice. It was our baby, and we were proud of it. We’d labored over explaining in the greatest of detail the intricacies of the procedures we performed, the individual bios of our doctors, and our overarching mission for our patients. We were proud of our accolades we’d earned. We felt it was critical for our patients to know everything they could about us, to make them feel more comfortable in our office... and especially in our operatories.

We are strong advocates that if a patient believes you, likes you, and trusts you, they will be your patient for life and bring to you an abundance of incredible patients for years to come.

So in an effort to spread the message of our newly designed website, I got to work. Over the course of several months during 2009 I created a presentation that was designed to play continuously on “loop”, day and night. It played on a modestly-sized flat screen tv in the corner of our reception area. It was full of great photos, our staff and doctors’ personal accolades, our bios, treatment before & afters, general Q&A, dental facts, pictures of our families, and most importantly some slides on procedures we did in the office that perhaps patients didn’t even know we offered.

It was nothing flashy, but it told the perfect story of what our practice was about. However, the response to this looped presentation was immediate and profound! We were bombarded with comments like “Doctor Theo…. I didn’t know you guys ALSO did implants?!”, or “You do teeth whitening too?”..... Or even just the occasional “Wow Dr. Theo, you’ve got some cute kids there!”

Fast forward nine years to 2018. Although still effective, the slideshow I’d created had become cumbersome and time consuming to update. It constantly needed work and frankly, I just didn’t have the time anymore with two young kids at home. I started thinking about other options and enlisted the help of my brother Mike, a trained graphic designer and entrepreneur. Together we created the first completely customized, digital, cloud-based office reception signage. Warm Reception was born.

We expanded on the same basic premise of digital lobby signage, but with so many improvements: incredible photos and graphics, instant updates via on-the-cloud service, and the skillset from an incredible team to “brand” your practice and make the most of both external and internal marketing.

There is much more to come from us, and so much to share. My brother and I truly feel that our team offers the perfect combination of dental knowledge, marketing, graphic design, and a strong ‘techy’ background to build and custom design for you something you can be proud of for years to come. I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed in what Warm Reception can do for your practice.
